Great Park and Libary also has pokestops and gyms
Nice clean park shared by a number of activities and groups: soccer, softball, tennis, yoga, martial arts, volleyball, etc. Playgrounds for kids big and little. The parking lot is on the north side.
If they put in basketball hoops it would be perfect. A lovely quiet place.
Open spaces, and playgrounds and tennis for outdoor, social distancing fun times.
It’s a Tucson park. What more can you say. Dead grass. Dirt. Not much going on.
Himmel park is nice. I go for the pull up bar!
Pretty rad park. Lots of open space as well as bball courts and areas to picnic/grill
Its a pretty good park, lots to do for adults and children.
Very nice park, but can be a bit trashy sometimes. Tennis courts need some renovating. A lot of dogs off leash even though it is not a dog park
Nice neighborhood park with a lot of space to walk and let your dog run.
This park is awesome. I've been going to himmel park for as long as I can remember, 30+ years. I had soccer practice there, went swimming, picnicking in the shade, playing tennis. There is a library too that is very sweet. Family-friendly park located in samhughes neighborhood, the park is even better now and I take my children there often. 2 playgrounds to pick from. They both have been remodeled and have different jungle gyms for different age groups, with an app that offers more fun activities to keep the kids busy. If you need a refreshing cool-off, eegees is right next door. Check it out if you haven't been there. I don't like the "Scary tall slide" aka best slide ever for some. Super talll and narrow. Not a fan but kids love it
Nice park. Lots of families.
With the library closed, the park is not as fun as it was.
With the recent improvements of having 2 new playgrounds (for different ages), new swings, and a big paved area for scooters/roller blades/etc., your kids are sure to have a blast. Ours did!
Very pretty park in Sam Hughes historic division of Tucson.
Peaceful..
The playground was clean. It was private...fun. The playground looked like a forest theme. I loved it! My daughter had a great time!
Really nice park
I really like that park I have drove by it a couple of times before I actually went to it and the times I saw it was during the day but when I actually went it happened to be at night time and to my surprise there was no lights really it was actually very dark and there was still a good amount of kids playing and it was only really around 6pm and it was just really dark so I enjoyed the park but I wish they had better lights especially for those who get off at 5 and have promised to take their kids to the park and their kids remember that promise.
Other than needing lighting, my girls love it!
Great Park for the kids and your pup!
Great place for outdoor meetings!
Grandkids love it!
Well maintained... lacks public rest room
Amazing work!!
Best unofficial dog park ever!
Nice park. Plenty of open space.
Very relaxing and clean. Everyone was doing there own thing
The tennis court lights aren't being turned on and some people have labeled this park as having a volleyball court which it doesn't. It would be a really nice addition though.
Great park with a fantastic playground for bigger and smaller kidlets alike. Well-maintained and lots of shade.
Great local outdoor park with ample shade and open space for pets or picnics. Walking trail around park, very peaceful!
Fun park, kept clean enjoyed walking with my clients at this park!
..open toilets
What a great park!!!
Great place to unwind
Very lovely tonight with temp down. My 3 year old grandson was in heaven playing on thre climbing structure in the dark and with no else there!
Probably the only metal slide left in Tucson, loved it!
Large park
Beautiful Park to bring my dogs to but didn't realize there were so many others and my dogs aren't fully socialized yet so they were barking a lot wanting to go after them (not in a harmful way)
This is a great park!
Great place to adventure and sightsee
Very nice playground equipment for the kids. Well watered, green grass and nice trees. People clean up after their dogs although some are not on a leash. Also tennis courts, pool and library make this a great destination to hang out.
It's quite and nice.
Little run down, but great geocaching!
Nice
Nice, and clean!
Nice park, well kept
This is a University of Arizona people Park. Extremely dog-friendly historically, evaporative cooled restroom but currently turned off, excellent day after rain cool grass and ample shade with Progressive tolerance of diverse Community enjoying public space. Library is just for collecting salaries in currently as well unless you need to return items or pick them up having requested them remotely. That's of course pleasing people who never use the building for other purposes themselves so regressive in being tolerated since March. Outstanding Grassi Stadium retained against landscape architecture fascist attacks so far but it will be graded flat if peeps don't keep up the advocacy.
Wish the caution tape be gone already. Stay healthy Tucson
Clean and nuce
